The manager of the Premier League club “Sheffield United” Chris Wilder was fined 11,500 pounds for a remark he made to the referees of the match with “Crystal Palace”, lost by his team last month, “Reuters” reported, quoted by BTA.

Wilder was upset by the decisions during the 2-3 loss, and in his post-match comments said the referees had made decisions against his team.

He also accused one of the assistants of being disrespectful and continuing to eat a sandwich while he tried to speak to Chief Justice Tony Harrington.

Wilder was penalized under the rule for “unsportsmanlike conduct that attacks the integrity of the referees”.

Wilder lost his nerve when his team’s goalkeeper Ivo Gurbic left the field with an injury after a clash with Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, who was also not booked.

“It was another ridiculous decision by the judges. I was told honestly that every decision will be against us, every controversial situation will be for the opponent,” said the manager at his press conference after the loss.
