EuroBasket 2022 started in a little more than three weeks and in the last few days the national teams started to hold preparatory games for the big tournament of the summer. Tonight (Tuesday) a match was held in Greece between the local team and the Spain team, when the story of the evening was the return of Yanis Antetokounmpo to the team after three years.
The NBA star was not interested in the fact that it was a preparatory game, and he led Dimitrios Itoudis’ team from the first second to absolute dominance against a rather weak Spanish team, with the result of the first quarter being 13:31. Taylor Dorsey also delighted the 15,000 fans who came to Oaxaca when he scored 11 points. The Greeks did not struggle tonight even though two of their most important players, Kostas Sloukas and Giorgios Papaianis, did not play. The one who made his debut for the Spanish national team tonight in Oaca was Maccabi Tel Aviv’s new player, Lorenzo Brown, who scored 7 points. In two days the Spaniards will have a chance to take revenge on the Greeks, this time in Spain.
