TRENTO. “As was my duty, with respect for the institution, I waited for the Provincial Administration to inform me about the appointment of the President of Muse. In the meantime I read many considerations on my name. During my Presidency, I had resigned twice, which returned thanks to the intelligent sensitivity of the Director, Dr Michele Lanzingerand with the help of the excellent administrative professionalism of Dr Massimo Eder. I have reached the end of my mandate and would not have welcomed a renewal of the Presidency.

With this decision, in recent months I have accepted two prestigious roles: the delegation of culture in the Municipality of Venice and the nomination at the Milan Triennale. Free of charge, I am committed to giving back to the Board of Directors, despite indisputable complexities, a decisive role in museum management as required by its regulations. Together with my collaborators I have carried out a work of great interest, bringing, at the request of the Director himself, i languages of humanistic culture to interact with those of the sciences“. Thus, with a letter, the president Stefano Zecchiannounces the end of his mandate.

“The Palazzo delle Albere has become a high-level laboratory for this fundamental relationship. The exhibitions “The wonderful journey (much appreciated at the Venice Documentary Festival), “Dentro il colore” (with the architect De Lucchi was present in the most important international magazines), “Anima Mundi” (covered by the Franco-German television “Arté” and by the Belgian one) have opened the way for a new, fruitful cultural research which I see already being carried out in the immediate future by the museum staff. I would like to sincerely thank those in Muse who loved me and helped me. I will have wonderful memories of them and a lot of gratitude.”
