Presidential Commission of Inquiry visits Kilinochchi

The Presidential Commission visited Kilinochchi today (Monday) to evaluate the findings of previous commissions and committees on missing persons and to take future action.

During the visit, the commission visited the families of the missing and conducted investigations.

The commission was chaired by Justice AHMT Nawaz and was attended by former police chief Sanra Fernando, former state president Nimal Abeysinghe and Lokeswari Padmaraja.

Today, they met the Commission on Relations of Missing Persons from Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mannar Districts and registered complaints regarding missing persons.

It is noteworthy that the Commission heard and registered the complaints in Tamil regarding the complaints of the people.
