Hriday Hossain Right handed batsman of Dhaka Metro. This student of Willis Little Flower School and College received the Prime Bank School Cricket Scholarship. Not only Hriday, Prime Bank has provided scholarships to 14 more Bangladeshi cricketers, altogether 15. Those who have been selected in several steps by BCB junior selectors.
Prime Bank Deputy Managing Director Nazim A. handed over scholarship money (Tk 60 thousand) to the top 15 cricketers of Prime Bank School Cricket of the season 2022-23. Chowdhury BCB director and chairman of game development department Khaled Mahmud Sujan and director Fahim Sinha were present at this time.
Prime Bank Limited has been associated with National School Cricket, the largest domestic cricket event since 2015. Every year around 12 thousand small cricketers from all over the country participate in this cricket event. 579 district level matches have already been completed with the participation of 352 schools of the country. The district champions will now compete for divisional supremacy. At the end of 57 matches of the divisional level, the champion team of 7 divisions will participate in the national championship fight.
Many cricketers have reached the national level through school cricket. At one time Nirman School Cricket was the only place to explore cricketers. Now Prime Bank is doing that work. Khaled Mahmud Sujan thanked them for that.
“There is a lot of talent in school cricket. We take care of them. Five people every year. Some years we get four players in the age group. They are getting a chance to play. Besides, the rest are playing competitive cricket in the divisional teams. – said Khaled Mahmud.

Many of the Prime Bank School cricketers are now representing the country at the national level. Many have established themselves as professional cricketers. Apart from cricket, the education scholarship has been introduced so that the best cricketers can continue their studies.
