Greek police have broken up a network of illegal immigrant trafficking. Two foreigners, aged 28 and 46, were detained in the center of Athens, who supplied illegal immigrants with foreign documents. Among them, Bulgarian identity cards and a Bulgarian driver’s license were found.

Some of the identity documents found are fake, and others were stolen from real persons. With these documents, traffickers secured travel to other European countries from several airports in Greece.

During the search, a total of 116 identity cards from various European countries were found, including Bulgarian documents.

The price, according to the testimony given to the police, varies from 600 to 1200 euros, BNR reported.

Driver’s licenses were also sold at a different rate, including a Bulgarian one.

The two foreigners arrested today owned a shop in the center of Athens, which was an illegal office for selling fake documents.

The entry of customers did not arouse the suspicion of the authorities.

The arrested were handed over to the prosecutor’s office.
