Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed today, Wednesday, with the UAE Ambassador to Iraq, Salem Issa Al-Zaabi, enhancing cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, energy and trade.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated – in a statement received by the (INA) – that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Wednesday, the UAE Ambassador to Iraq, Salem Issa Al-Zaabi, on the occasion of the end of his work duties. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, especially the fields of economy, investment, energy and trade, in a way that achieves the common interests of Iraq and the Emirates.”
According to the statement, Al-Sudani expressed his “appreciation for the role played by Al-Zaabi in developing and advancing relations with the United Arab Emirates, wishing him success in his future tasks.”
In turn, Al Zaabi conveyed to the Prime Minister, “the greetings of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President of the State and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the Vice President of the State, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” stressing, “his country’s aspiration to enhance cooperation with Iraq at all levels.”
