Conakry, June 19, 2023 – Prime Minister Dr Bernard Goumou received the delegation of the Global Alliance for Vaccination at the Palais de la Colombe introduced by the Minister of Health
The objective was to present to the Prime Minister the progress of the vaccination program since their last visit in October 2022 and to seek advice for the implementation of the strategic vaccination programme.
During her communication, Dr Marthe Sylvie Essengue Elouma, Regional Director of #GAVI for Central and West Africa, recalled that the GAVI project was in partnership with Guinea and wished to continue its financial support to the country. She specified that an amount of 52 million US dollars was allocated to Guinea until 2025 to strengthen vaccination and guarantee the accessibility of vaccines to the population.
