Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned to Delhi after a fruitful visit to France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During his time abroad, the Prime Minister focused on strengthening bilateral relations, discussing important agreements, and promoting cultural ties.

The visit was also significant in connection with the purchase of Rafale jets for the Indian Air Force. Welcomed with great enthusiasm, the Prime Minister addressed a gathering of Indians living in France, where he extolled the historic importance of the Tamil language and praised the achievements of Tamil poet Tiruvalluvar.
During his discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Modi announced the future establishment of a statue dedicated to Thiruvalluvar in France. Macron, in turn, bestowed upon him France’s highest honor, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor. The leaders sealed the visit with several important bilateral agreements.
Following his visit to France, Prime Minister Modi embarked on a one-day trip to the United Arab Emirates. Welcomed by Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Shayad Al Nahyan, the Prince of the UAE, the Prime Minister flew to Abu Dhabi. There, he held productive discussions with the country’s President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, covering various topics including fuel, food security, and bilateral trade relations.
Once again, important agreements were signed between the two nations, with a specific focus on the establishment of an IIT campus in Abu Dhabi. Demonstrating his concern for his country, the Prime Minister reached out to Deputy Chief Minister Saxena upon his return to Delhi to inquire about the ongoing flood situation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France and the UAE reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening international relations and promoting cultural exchanges.
