“Armenia Wine” factory will benefit from customs duty exemption, the decision was made at the government meeting.
The imported products will be used for the production of vodka and wine (Aragatsotni region). In 2016, the company received the privilege of exemption from customs duty by the corresponding decision of the government, as a result of which an investment of 3.3 billion drams was actually made for the purchase of raw materials and 255 new jobs were created.
Within the framework of the investment program, another 1.6 billion drams are planned to be invested for the purchase of raw materials.
As a result, 40 new jobs will be created with an average salary of 250,000 drams. The total volume of production provided by the program will be 10 billion drams, of which 5 billion drams will be produced in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, 4.2 billion drams in the territory of other EAEU member states, and 800 million drams in the territory of third countries.
The value of the goods submitted for obtaining the privilege is 1.6 billion drams. The privilege of customs duty exemption amounts to 106 million drams.
