At 25 years old, the son of trainer Thierry Duvaldestin holds his prestigious victory with Idao de Tillard (n° 12) by winning this Sunday the Prix d’Amérique, the World Harness Trotting Championship, at the Paris racecourse -Vincennes (12th century).
The 2023 edition of the premier event, where the crack was disqualified, is forgotten. He once again showed his full potential by winning for the first time in America, leaving Hail Mary (n° 13), the main leader of the race, behind before faltering at the end of the last turn.

“I had a great time, I had a great time – it was really great. I fully appreciate how lucky I am to be associated with a horse like him,” confided the winning driver of this 103rd edition to Equidia. “I was scared, he was in a bad place, it’s huge, I couldn’t dream of anything better. It’s magnificent, it’s crazy,” declared his coach father, moved to tears.
Second place, obtained by Hokkaido Jiel (No. 2) at odds of 92/1, is a victory for those around him. He is ahead of Joviality (n° 17), excellent third, while Go On Boy (n° 7), author of a remarkable end of the race, and Italiano Vero (n° 8) complete the good combination. Hooker Berry (No. 14), the defending champion, finished sixth.
