A film on a larger scale than Kalapani; Son of Alphonse about woodcarving
Marakkar has become the most awaited release among the Malayalee cinema lovers. Despite the theatrical-OTT controversy, Marakkar created a wave among the audience. Antony Perumbavoor’s latest movie trailer has also added to the excitement.

After watching the preview show of Marakkar, co-producer CJ Roy and others came on the scene to share their good thoughts about the film. Malayalam director Alphonse Puthren has praised the film.

Kalapani, on which they had previously worked together, was a film on a large scale. Alphonse’s son says that Marakkaar is a film with a slightly larger scale than Kalapani.

The film took two and a half years to complete. Apart from Mohanlal, the film also stars Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Prabhu, Keerthi Suresh, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Suhasini, Sunil Shetty, Nedumudi Venu and Fazil.
