Panaji: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has joined hands with tribal women in Goa. Priyanka was here to launch the state Congress’ campaign ahead of the Assembly elections. Goa will go to the polls for the first time next year. Priyanka arrived in Goa on Friday evening.
The Congress has shared a video of Priyanka stepping out with tribal women performing traditional folk dances on Twitter. This video is 45 seconds long from the village of Morpirla. Priyanka is seen hugging one of them at the end of the dance.

This is not the first time Priyanka has danced with tribal women and girls. Priyanka arrived in Assam in March this year, where she participated in the Jhumur dance with the girls.
Priyanka’s visit to Goa comes at a time when the state Congress is going through a severe crisis. Many Congress leaders are joining the Trinamool and the Aam Aadmi Party. Former Chief Minister Lucien Falero MLA His resignation from the party and joining the Trinamool was a major blow to the Congress. After joining Trinamool, Mamata appointed Falero as National Vice President.
