Producer prices: a nasty harbinger of inflation for consumers

Et is a shock figure, and it has largely disappeared in the flood of news and the flood of news: producer prices in Germany rose by 8.5 percent in June compared to the previous year. Since January 1982, almost 40 years, there has not been such a drastic increase.
