Proex opens the selection of academic and cultural event proposals for the X University Week [17 a 22/10]

The Organizing Committee of the academic events and cultural aspects that will be part of the X University Week, which will take place from 5 to 8 November 2024, with the theme: “Science and technology for social development”.

Proposals for academic and cultural events can be submitted from 17 to 22/10/2024, exclusively through the electronic form.

In-person mode: the events will take place exclusively in person, on the Unilab, Ceará and Bahia campuses.

Proposers: applications can be submitted by students, teachers or administrative technicians of Unilab or other higher education institutions (HEIs). It will be the proposer’s responsibility to invite, welcome, mediate and provide all the information necessary to carry out the proposed event, maintaining a constant dialogue with the X Semuni organizing committee and the event’s collaborators.

Format of activities: Activities may include short courses, workshops, conferences, round tables, artistic and cultural presentations, exhibitions, among other formats related to the central theme of the University Week.

Minimum places: Each proposal must provide for the offer of a minimum number of 20 places for short courses and 15 places for workshops, with the possibility of canceling activities with a number of registered participants less than 10 and 7 respectively.

Proposal Limit: Each proposer may submit only one event proposal, but may participate in other activities as a collaborator.

Events will be approved and distributed based on space availability.

Travel logistics: Unilab will not provide individual transport for people who will carry out, teach or collaborate in the realization of the events. Public transport may be provided, but will depend on the availability of the institution’s resources. The Event Proponent is responsible for inviting, welcoming and providing all necessary information for travel, both with the official vehicle (if any) and with other means of transport.

Registration information

At the time of submission the proposer must complete the electronic formproviding the following information:

1. Title of the business;
2. Name of the proposer and co-organizers;
3. Contact of Proposers (Telephone and E-mail);
4. Summary (150 to 200 words);
5. Linked Presidency (Proex, Prograd or Proppg);
6. Type of Event;
7. Location and Unity (Bahia/Ceará);
8. Recommended spaces for the event;
9. Suggested date and time for the activity;
10. Special requests (laboratories or specific premises, if necessary);
11. Multimedia equipment (if necessary, chairs, data show, microphone, tables);
12. Number of vacancies available;
13. Responsible Unit/Responsible Server;
14. Contact of the responsible server.
