Dr. Juan Carlos Atencia is a professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Provincial University of Laguna Blanca (UPLaB) and holder of the chair of Biochemistry in the Medicine program, who emphasized the interest shown by students in the classes.
“The new school year opened with many expectations,” he said in remarks collected by the Formosa News Agency (AGENFOR) and also emphasized the need to “enter a new, much deeper regime of study.”
In particular, regarding his professorship, he explained that it is crucial to how the body functions internally in the chemical part.
Atencia then said that the students are a homogeneous group of young people and that they show interest from the first day of classes, because they are “very involved”.
In addition, he said that the University has a platform where all practical materials are uploaded, that is, “everything is information so that the student can have material to study”. as well as having a library.
It is important to point out that a decision was made by Governor Gildo Insfrán, who attacked the building of the Faculty of Health Sciences on April 29, which was equipped with everything necessary to provide excellent training.
In that sense, the teacher appreciated the completion of this work, since with it, from now on in Formosa, future professionals will be trained in Medical and Nursing Degrees.
“It is a very important possibility for young people who have a very good reception on the course,” he said.
The main aim, Atencia declared, is to have “first class health professionals” in the future.
