LOLLAPALOOZA PARIS. After unveiling the first five artists of its 2023 program, the Lollapalooza festival announces other names, such as Lil Nas X, Damso or Stray Kids.
[Mis à jour le 25 janvier 2023 à 14h26] The 2023 edition of Lollapalooza promises to be explosive. After making festival-goers salivate with five first names, namely Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, Rosalía, Kygo and Aya Nakamura, the Parisian festival organizers unveil a new list of names to be added to the 2023 program. Thus, the boy-band phenomenon of K-pop Stray Kids, the Belgian rapper Damso, but also the Americans of OneRepublic, are announced on the lawn of the hippodrome ParisLongchamps next summer.
Other names should be announced soon. On the ticketing side, note that 1-day Passes will be available this Friday, at 10 a.m., on the Lollapalooza site. The 2023 edition of Lollapalooza Paris will be held on July 21, 22 and 23, 2023.

For the ticket office, several dates have been announced: 1-day Passes will go on sale this Friday, at 10 a.m., on the Lollapalooza site. Note that the 3-day Pass went on sale on December 9th.

Two days of celebration and music: the Lollapalooza Paris made a fiery return to the ParisLongchamps racecourse on Saturday and Sunday July 17, 2022, with 130,000 festival-goers. Two days marked by the heat, but also and above all by the performances of many prestigious artists: Jack Harlow, Vald, Imagine Dragons, Vladimir Cauchemar, Anitta or David Guetta, but also Megan Thee Stallion, Pearl Jam, Maneskin or A$AP Rocky .
The story of Lollapalooza
The Lollapalooza festival was created in 1991 by Perry Farrel, the leader of the group Jane’s Addiction. The event has established itself on the American continent as the benchmark rock, punk and heavy metal festival, with editions in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Berlin. The festival is bought by Live Nation, a multinational considered to be the biggest organizer of musical events in the world. In France, the American company already organizes three festivals, the Main Square d’Arras, I Love Techno of Montpellier and the Download Festival of Paris, created in 2016. “Live Nation wanted to continue to develop its activity on festivals in France” assured Angelo Gopee who does not however speak of competition.
“I’m not sure that the Vieilles Charrues, or even Solidays, We Love Green, Rock en Seine bring in artists like David Guetta, Calvin Harris or Ariana Grande” he defends himself before deciding: “Between all these festivals, there is a place for us, with artists that we are the only ones to be able to offer”. Historically, the Lollapalooza was the springboard for rock giants such as Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. “The Lollapalooza is the biggest festival in the world, which brings together 120,000 spectators a day in Chicago every summer,” he explains.
