Abu Dhabi: On the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, parking is free in Abu Dhabi from 8am to 10am (Saturday to Monday). Darb toll gate system will be free for eight.
Public parking will be free from Saturday to Monday 7:59am. Parking at Musafa M-18 truck parking lot will also be free during official holidays.
The Abu Dhabi Municipality and Transport Department’s Integrated Transport Center (ITC) has asked drivers to avoid parking and driving in prohibited areas. ITC has requested the drivers to park properly in the designated areas and avoid parking in residential parking areas from 9 pm to 8 am.
Toll gate charges will resume during normal peak hours (7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm) on Monday.
Customer Happiness Centers across Abu Dhabi will close at 8 p.m. You can continue to apply for ITC services through digital platforms, website, Darb and Darb smart apps.
Customers can contact the Unified Service Support Center of the Municipality and Transport Department on its toll-free number 800850 and TransAD 600535353. They are available 24 hours a day.
ITC also informed that the bus services will operate on a regular consolidated schedule throughout the week.
Free parking has been announced in Sharjah only on Saturdays. Public parking is free except in seven-day paid parking zones marked with blue information signs.
