“Hraparak” newspaper writes: “Yesterday, the report on the government‘s five-year plan for 2023 was discussed in the parliament, on the occasion of which the members of the government, led by Nikol Pashinyan, were in the NA since morning. During the session resumed after a long break, Pashinyan decided to go up to the journalists’ lodge, from where the young people from the marzes, who were hosted in the National Assembly that day, were watching the session. Accompanied by a large number of bodyguards, the prime minister, who visited the children, was surrounded by reporters accredited to the National Assembly, trying to get answers to a number of questions from the head of state. It turned out that for about 1 hour, two dozen young people were forced to remain locked in the lodge, which is a small, airless space without windows.
In the process, they made several attempts to leave the lodge, but Pashinyan’s “akhrana” had firmly closed the doors of the lodge from the outside, as the Prime Minister was standing with his back to the doors. Fortunately, Pashinyan got nervous in the middle of the briefing and left the question-and-answer session. Later, we learned that the well-being of several young people in the lodge had worsened, and if the question-and-answer session was prolonged, the consequences would have been worse.”
