Death of St. Rajkumar
Puneeth Rajkumar is the youngest son of the late actor Dr. Rajkumar-Parvathamma couple. A leading actor in Kannada, he died suddenly of a heart attack on October 29 last year (2021) at the age of 46. The death of Puneet Rajkumar plunged his fans into grief.
His body was buried at Kandirava Studio in Gorakhpur. From then until today, fans have been flocking to pay homage to his body.
‘James’ movie released
Puneet Rajkumar has acted in 46 films. His 47th film is ‘James’. This is the last film he has acted in. It was announced that the film would be released on March 17 (i.e. yesterday). Amidst the curiosity and great anticipation of the fans, the James movie was released yesterday on Puneet Rajkumar’s birthday. The film was released in 500 theaters in Karnataka. Apart from Kannada, the film was released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu in about 3,500 theaters. Seeing Puneet Rajkumar on screen, his fans jumped for joy. Some fans burst into tears.

Seats were overflowing in all the theaters where the James movie was released. Tickets for the next 3 days are fully sold out. Some fans went back with disappointment as tickets were not available. Fans thronged into the theater and tried to move on. The police used light beatings to control them. Not only in Bangalore but all over Karnataka, after the release of James’ film yesterday, his fans were celebrating the festival in theaters.
Donation to 1 lakh people
Yesterday was the birthday of the late actor Puneet Rajkumar. The movie James, starring Puneet Rajkumar for the last time on his birthday, was released yesterday. On this occasion, a large number of fans visited the memorial of Puneet Rajkumar at the Koragundepalaya Kandirava Studio in Bangalore on his birthday.
They worshiped by sprinkling flowers on the memorial. Lakshmi Narayana, an ardent fan of Dr. Rajkumar, donated to about 1 lakh people, including Puneet Rajkumar’s fans who came to Kandirava Studio.

Yesterday was the birthday of St. Rajkumar. The release of the James movie on his birthday was doubly happy for the fans.
