“Pyunik” football club signed a contract with defender Arman Hovhannisyan, he moved to “Pyunik” from “Ararat” of Yerevan.

“Hovhannisyan started playing football at the “Pyunik” sports school when he was 9 years old. In 2009, Hovhannisyan signed his first professional contract with “Pyunik”, and in 2011, he made his debut in the match with “Gandzasar” of the Armenian Premier League. He played 107 matches for our club, and in total, he played 220 times in the Armenian championships.

Arman Hovhannisyan became a two-time champion of Armenia and a one-time champion of Armenia with “Pyunik”. He also won the title of national champion and won the cup with “Ararat-Armenia” and “Shirak” respectively.

The 29-year-old defender wore the jersey of the Armenian national team 12 times.

During his career, he also played in the Ukrainian “Zirka”, the Kazakh “Tobol”, and the Armenian clubs “Shiraku”, “Alashkert”, “Ararat-Armenia”, “Gandzasar” and “Ararat”.
