During the organization of the Main Department of Culture of the city of Baku at the Cultural Center named after G. Abbasov, within the framework of the project “Qonağımız var” (We have a guest), a meeting was held with the famous singer, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Adalat Shukurov, reports Day.Az.
At the beginning of the event, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.
Then the dance group “Aysel” presented a choreographic composition. Next, the guests of the evening were informed about the life and creative work of the honored artist.
It was noted that Adalat Shukurov studied classical guitar at a music school. Then he graduated from the directing department of the Leningrad State Institute of Culture (now the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture), and worked as a director on one of the Russian television channels.
He performed in St. Petersburg with original songs at events of the Azerbaijani diaspora. Popularity came to Shukurov when recordings of his songs were heard in Azerbaijan, where they quickly became popular.
In the early 2000s, Shukurov moved to Azerbaijan, where his professional singing career began. Over the following years, the singer released more than ten albums, including the Russian-language one, “The Soul Is Sick.”
At the event, the singer performed songs beloved by listeners “Qoca çinar”, “Bir yaz axşamı”, “İtirdim” and others. Adalat Shukurov also sincerely communicated with the public, answering questions from fans.
The event ended with the song “Azərbaycan” performed by Honored Artist Adalat Shukurov.
