QR code instead of vaccine card?

Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has said it will take at least two more weeks to finalize everything related to the mandatory implementation of the vaccine card.

He said that once the legal issues are resolved with the permission of the Attorney General, we consider it convenient for the public to introduce the QR code instead of carrying the vaccination card.

Therefore, the necessary arrangements are being made in collaboration with the Ministry of Technology to introduce the QR code.
