– The audience who loves Meritorious Artist Quach Thu Phuong always sees her neatness and ageless beauty in every photo shoot, so what is her image like in real life?
I think social networks themselves partly express who we are. For me, if I wasn’t an actor and worked in any profession, I would still be as neat as possible when I go out. It is respect for those around you and yourself.
In the past, I used to think that staying at home was okay, but then I realized that was also a mistake.
During that time, I let myself relax, thinking that I wasn’t going anywhere so I didn’t have to be fussy and then there were those serious consequences. So after that I changed, in any situation I always appear the most neat and polite.
My personal page doesn’t have photos of me going out to eat or taking casual photo shoots. I’m quite picky about choosing photos to share on social networks.

– Your recent roles are characters that are somewhat childish and childish… What have you done to make your roles colorful and different?
With the advantage of being a stage actor, up to now, we have researched the character’s background carefully, placing the character in relation to other characters. From there, you can understand the character in the deepest way.
With the character in The Taste of Love, I can laugh and cry like a child. That’s also the result of what I observe in real life, there are women I know, people I come into contact with – really like that. Looking at people, they seem happy and pampered, but in fact they are very lonely. They only respect their feelings so they become more selfish.
And the way they attract people’s attention is to become more childish, being considered overly whiny. This is also a personal experience. There were times when I thought of crazy things to make people pay more attention to me.
When I accepted the role in The Taste of Love, I shared with director Nguyen Danh Dung that I would act so that any woman would see me in it, no matter how big or small.
– So are you a perfectionist woman?
Actually this is correct. When I’m working, I’m highly focused and put in 100% of my energy. There are days when I’m filming and working with brands, I’m the one who lifts everyone’s mood. No matter how tired I am, I never show it. Only when I finish work and return home do I feel tired.

– After ‘Taste of Friendship’, the ‘mother-child’ relationship between her and actress Phuong Oanh still remains good. When Phuong Oanh was turned away by public opinion, she did not hesitate to protect her, why?
When I love someone, I understand their personality and personality to love them. I think, not for any individual character’s story, but for anyone, we need to have an objective point of view, not judge by the crowd effect.
Following the crowd makes us forget to find out how the two of them came together, why they chose to be together.
I have an outspoken personality, so I have never been afraid to express my opinion. If they don’t come together out of love or integrity, their love will not be sustainable and happy.
Phuong Oanh is a girl with a straightforward personality, lives generously and always brings positive energy to those around her. I really liked Oanh right from the first days of joining Flavor of Friendship. She is also a girl with a kind heart, warm and extremely lovely.
After the movie, we still address ourselves as ‘mother – child’ and cannot change it. Even though Oanh said that calling me like that would disadvantage me, neither of us could change our title. In me, there is love between mother and child, sister and brother, love between relatives and love between colleagues.
Just like the saying: “If fate meets fate, we will not meet many people like that in life.” We may meet late or not be near each other often, but we still have a good and precious relationship and can share many things.
I always cherish the feelings between me and Phuong Oanh. Actually, during the year of filming, we didn’t share much with each other. After filming ended, we shared more. However, I believe that human nature is always revealed from the beginning, not later.

– Having gone through turbulence in marriage and love, what do you want most from your other half?
Actually, I don’t want to repeat what happened in the past. I care about the present me – living peacefully, freely and happily. I have two children, one boy – one girl – the son is 1.86m tall and the daughter is 1.71m tall. The children are all very independent, mature and living abroad. To me, that is the greatest fortune and greatest happiness of life.
– There are quite a few viewers who are curious about Quach Thu Phuong’s husband. If it’s not a secret, can you share a little about your current life?
Actually, everyone is wondering why my personal page still has ‘Single’ status. For me, what is private belongs to the individual, it does not necessarily need to be shared with many people.
– A little sharing about the film project you are participating in with your “husband” Meritorious Artist Trinh Mai Nguyen?
Meritorious Artist Mai Nguyen and I collaborated for the first time in The Taste of Friendship, but we have something in common: before every role, we discuss and communicate very well with each other. So when filming, we all had a high degree of unity. Meritorious Artist Trinh Mai Nguyen is also a talented male artist and I learned many things from working together.
