Qualcomm is reportedly planning to make the graphics chip in its flagship processors a more significant factor. The company is set to unveil its next flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, later this year at its regular developer event. The graphics chip that it is supposed to integrate into the new processor will be Adreno 750 and it should offer a significant improvement.
How significant? According to a report by the well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the performance difference against the Adreno 740, which is integrated in the current generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, should be 50% or more.
According to the claims and rumors, not only is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 supposed to be graphically more powerful than Apple’s current A16 Bionic, but also more than the next generation, A17 Bionic.
