Kochi: The scooter passenger and her daughter were knocked down by a speeding private bus in front of Edappally Church. Beena Varghese (52), a native of Edappally, died instantly. The injured daughter was shifted to the hospital. The accident happened around 7 pm today. Badusha bus plying on Fort Kochi-Aluva route caused the accident. Eyewitnesses say that competition between buses is the cause of danger
