Journalist Alleges Financial Exploitation by Ex-Partner in Custody Battle

Through social media, journalist Rafael ⁤Cavada reported ‍on the difficulties he has faced in achieving shared custody‌ of his children and accused his ex-partner, Fiorella Choca, of attempting to take ‍”financial advantage.”

In a⁣ recent post ‌on his Instagram⁣ account, Rafael Cavada revealed the legal battle he is fighting with his ex-partner, Fiorella Choca, for the care of their children. In the post, he stated that since their separation in January, he‌ has only been able to spend a few hours with his children‍ a couple of days a week, significantly restricting their relationship.

Cavada⁣ expressed ‌his frustration, claiming that Choca has reported him for‍ physical and psychological violence throughout their relationship, leading to a lawsuit for shared custody. He suspects this is an ‌attempt to ⁢obstruct the new Comprehensive Law against Violence against Women, which coincides with ‍their ongoing disagreement about alimony payments, which amount to almost 90% ⁢of his salary.

The journalist also alleged that Choca’s complaint is hindering‍ his ability to achieve shared‌ custody of their three children. He acknowledged⁤ the damage to his image but believes the ⁤truth will eventually prevail.

Cavada concluded by criticizing the misuse of legal⁣ protections and rights intended for women and mothers, alleging that Choca is⁤ using them⁢ for personal gain rather than for the well-being of their children.
