Rahul Gandhi Slams PM Modi’s Policies for Unemployment and Rising Prices
In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi blamed severe unemployment and rising prices for the recent security breach in Parliament. Speaking to the media after an election discussion with Gujarat Congress leaders at Congress headquarters, Rahul Gandhi criticized the current government’s handling of the economy.
“What happened in Parliament was definitely a security lapse. Why did it happen? Unemployment is the biggest problem facing the country. Unemployment is simmering across the country. The reason is because of Modi’s policies,” Rahul Gandhi said.
Later, in another meeting in X, Rahul repeated the same criticism, stating that India’s youth are not getting jobs and emphasizing that unemployment is the root cause of the security breach.
The opposition, including in Parliament, has intensified protests against BJP leader Amit Shah’s response to the security breach. As the debate intensified, BJP came out against Rahul Gandhi, with BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya denying Rahul’s claims and stating that unemployment in India is at its lowest level in six years.
Nevertheless, Rahul Gandhi remains steadfast in his criticism, as he plans to highlight unemployment and rising prices in the upcoming “next Jodo Yatra” led by him. He aims to weaponize his attack on the Center in an attempt to address the pressing issue of unemployment.
