Srinagar: Rahul and Priyanka threw snow at each other during the heavy snowfall in Srinagar during Bharat Jodo Yatra. The duo had their ‘battle’ in the snow at the camp site on Monday morning before the concluding session of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. A video shared by Rahul on Twitter with the caption ‘Snow of happiness, a beautiful morning at the Bharat Jodo Yatra campsite in Srinagar’ has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Rahul runs behind the snow and rubs it on Priyanka’s head and the fellow passengers laugh at it. Priyanka in turn rubs the snow on Rahul’s head and face and finally the two hug. Rahul is throwing snow on the body of other workers too. Priyanka joined the last leg of the journey in Kashmir on Saturday.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra concluded today with a mega rally amid heavy snowfall in Srinagar. The Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, where the closing ceremony was held, was covered in snow. Apart from the Congress, 11 opposition parties also participated in the concluding meeting. After 136 days long Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Kashmir after covering 4080 km. Rahul Gandhi started his journey from Kanyakumari on September 7, 2022.
