Raids Conducted at Multiple Locations Related to Higher Education Minister Ponmudi

VILLUPURAM – In a major development, enforcement officers have carried out raids at nine different locations, including Chennai and Villupuram. The targeted locations are allegedly linked to the Higher Education Minister Ponmudi. The raids, which began at 9 am this morning, have been ongoing for six hours at Ponmudi’s residence in Srinagar Colony, Saitappettai, Chennai.

A team of seven officers have been meticulously searching Ponmudi’s house since 7 am. Simultaneously, authorities are actively searching another property in Villupuram. However, officials faced a setback as they discovered that the bureau and locker at Minister Ponmudi’s house in Villupuram were devoid of any keys.

After patiently waiting for a prolonged period, the enforcement officials were left with no choice but to summon a fake key maker. Seeking access to the bureau and locker, officials took the decision to open them with counterfeit keys. The minister’s aide confirmed the absence of keys and called for a lock opener to assist in the search.

Consequently, the Bureau has decided to proceed with the opening and search of the lockers with the help of a lock picker. The bureau is being thoroughly checked as it was deemed impossible to open it otherwise.

A significant development in the raid came with the visit of an official from Indian Bank. The bank official was invited by the enforcement officials to investigate any suspicious money transactions within Minister Ponmudi’s bank account.

This raid represents a major development in the ongoing investigation into the Higher Education Minister Ponmudi. The enforcement officers are working tirelessly to uncover any potential wrongdoing and shed light on important findings. Further updates are awaited as the search at all locations continues.
