For this Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources predicts that the weather conditions will remain with rain and a warm atmosphere, as reported on its social networks.
In the early hours of this Saturday, rains of moderate to strong intensity will continue over the metropolitan area of San Salvador, in the El Bálsamo and Apaneca Ilamatepec mountain range. The sky will remain cloudy in the rest of the country.
Environment reported that since 7 in the morning, the maximum rain recorded at the Picacho station, district of San Salvador Centro, was 72.2 millimeters (mm). At the Boquerón station, La Libertad Sur district of 41mm; in Osicala 29, in Izalco 26 mm, and in Comasagua 13.8 mm.
In the afternoon, rains and storms are expected over the central and western volcanic mountain range and northern fringe of the departments of Chalatenango and Morazán.
The wind will be from the southwest and southeast, from 10 to 15 km/h. In addition, the atmosphere is expected to remain warm in the afternoon.
