Mexico City International Airport (AICM) reported that this Sunday, from 5:59 p.m. to 6:41 p.m. local time, at the air terminal they showed up adverse weather conditions of cross and gusty winds with decreased visibility due to rain.
“For this reason, some crews decided to delay their takeoff, prioritizing the safety of operations. Due, some operations will experience delays. Consult your airline to find out the situation of your flight,” the AICM mentioned on its social networks.
The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection reported that the rains recorded this Sunday in Mexico City may cause damage.
The capital agency asked citizens to stay informed and follow the recommendations.
Civil Protection highlighted that a Yellow Alert was activated due to the persistence of heavy rains during the afternoon and evening of this Sunday in the municipalities of Azcapotzalco, Gustavo A. Madero, and Venustiano Carranza.
