Snow is falling in Morocco’s High and Middle Atlas mountains, part of a widespread weather system bringing a mix of conditions to the North African nation.

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rainy, sometimes stormy, showers across a large swath of the country, including the Tangier region, northern and central plains, the Rif mountains, the Souss valley, and the Atlas mountains and surrounding areas. The Phosphates and Oulmès plateaus and the Chiadma region are also expected to see precipitation.
