Chakravarthy (62), who acted in more than 70 films in Tamil cinema, has passed away. He has acted in films of many leading actors including Shivaji, Rajini, Kamal, in the 80s. The emperor, who retired from cinema, has been working as a background voice artist on a private television channel. He is a member of the South Indian Actors Association and lives in Mumbai with his family.
