Superstars who have experienced screen presence as much as Rajinikanth are rare in Indian cinema. No matter how old he is, he still exudes that energetic presence. The glimpses released by the makers indicate that Rajini will be seen in the same glory in the latest film Jailar. The 13-second long video has been released by Sun Pictures.
Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, one of the notable directors of Tamil youth. As the name suggests, Rajini will play the role of a jailer in the action drama film. Sivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and others are appearing in the film along with Rajini. Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling the cinematography for the film, which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stunt Shiva is the action choreographer of the film. This is Rajinikanth’s next film after Annathe. Being a Rajini film, Jailer is already in the list of major projects that Kollywood is waiting for. The screenplay of the film is also by Nelson. Earlier there were reports that Rajinikanth had given permission to Nelson to take his own liberties with the script.

Nelson Dileep Kumar is a director who got noticed with his debut film Kolamaa Kokila. But the career break was given by Sivakarthikeyan’s hero Doctor. At the same time, Beast, which came with great expectations and had Vijay as the hero, also failed. Nelson is hoping to return to success with his next film. The film will release next year.
