While a significant number of clinics will be closing, three locations will remain open to ensure continued access to services in key areas. These include Ramsay Psychology Cairns in Queensland, Ramsay Psychology Charlestown in New South Wales, and Ramsay Psychology Joondalup in Western Australia.
A senior official stated that these clinics were selected “to support local needs, maintain key partnerships and pilot more integrated models of care.” This suggests a focus on strategically located facilities that can serve as hubs for more comprehensive mental health services.
Continuity of Care a Top Priority
Ramsay Health Care acknowledges the potential disruption caused by these changes and is prioritizing continuity of care for existing patients. “We understand this change might be unsettling,” a company release noted, “and we are working closely with our psychologists to ensure every client is supported.”
The company is offering support through its existing and expanded Telehealth service, as well as facilitating referrals to other trusted providers where clinically appropriate.
