Ralph Rangnick is known as a revolutionary. At Manchester United it is less successful so far, with his arrival in place of Ola Gunnar Solskjaer not bringing in a special line, but ahead of next season he is initiating a revolution that could change the Premier League, with England reporting that referees may train with players according to the German idea.
The coach believes that the relationship between the referees and the players will improve as a result of the initiative and bring the parties closer together. The referees in the Premier League are still considering whether to make it official for next season and according to the publications, the idea has received great support. This move will allow judges to actually get to a particular group’s training facility, in an attempt to also improve their understanding.
Rangnick recently initiated a meeting between the coaches and the chairman of the English Referees Association Mike Riley and came up with the idea, in which the players will also be able to get to know the referees in more depth and not just see them in the games. If this is indeed the case, it will be a very big revolution in English football.
