Thiruvananthapuram: This season’s Ranji Trophy matches will start from today. Kerala’s rivals are Meghalaya. The matches will start at 9.30 am in Saurashtra. Apart from Meghalaya, Kerala’s rivals in the Elite A Division are Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Vishnu Vinod is the vice captain of the Sachin Baby Captainaya team. Veteran pacer S. Sreesanth is also in the team. Sanju Samson, who is at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, will join the team after regaining his fitness.

Rahane will play for Mumbai and Pujara for Saurashtra in the Elite Group D match between Mumbai and Saurashtra starting today. Veteran pacer Ishant Sharma will bowl for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy.
