Tadevos Avetisyan, deputy of the Armenia faction of the RA NA, member of the Supreme Body of the ARF, wrote:
“The RA export to the Russian Federation is growing at a slightly higher rate than the average

The total export of RA was 5.42 billion US dollars, and the export of RA to Russia was 2.463 billion drams, or 45.5 percent of the total.
Compared to 2021, in 2022 the total export of RA increased by 80 percent, and the export of RA to Russia increased 3 times, which is about 3.75 times higher than the average growth rate of RA export.
January-September 2023.
The total export of RA was 5.12 billion US dollars, and the export of RA to Russia was 2.645 billion drams, or 52 percent of the total.
Compared to January-September 2022, in the same period of 2023, the total export of RA increased by 45 percent, and the export of RA to Russia increased by 85 percent or 1.215 billion USD, which is about 1.9 times higher than the average growth rate of RA export.
In 2023, the share of exports to the Russian Federation increased by 6.5 percentage points in the total exports of RA compared to the previous year.
This general assessment states:
Neglecting the key role of our country’s foreign trade and economic relations with countries with real and progressive potential for development, due to their narrow party-political interests by the ruling group, does not follow, moreover, it completely contradicts our country’s national interests and long-term and stable economic development.
