According to data from the public procurement website, the contract was executed in October. Igor Gasparov turned out to be the supplier of state purchases. This is an associate professor, candidate of philosophical sciences, who works at the Voronezh State Medical University named after Burdenko. He also works at the Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE).
In addition to studying evil, the institution has requested another “hellish” research. 742 thousand rubles were spent on research “Useless freedom and the problem of hell”. Also 686 thousand went to work “The Relational Dimension of the Problem of Evil and Mystical Theodicy”. In addition, the Russian Academy of Sciences spent 667 thousand rubles on the scientific work “Alexius Meinong and Austrian philosophy of the XIX-early XX: Basic ideas and late scholastic roots”.
According to RBC, all this was done within the framework of the law and the allocated grant. People won the competition. The funds were initially allocated from the Russian Science Foundation.
In December, it was reported that 82-year-old Abdusalam Huseynov became the acting director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was appointed to the post after the employees of the organization of science opposed the candidacy of Anatoly Chernyaev. The latter was accused of conflict, inability to manage the team and discredit the institute.
