RBI Statistics: HDFC Bank Leads in Credit Card Ownership in India

According to the statistics released by RBI on November 2023, there are a total of 9.6 crore credit cards in circulation in India. About 21 percent of these cards are owned by HDFC Bank.

In terms of number of credit cards issued, HDFC Bank is followed by SBI, followed by ICICI and Axis Bank.
