The King’s Cup moves up a gear. After 16 advanced to the round of 16, today (Saturday) the draw was held for the next stage, in which 12 teams from the top Spanish league, 3 from the second division (Jijon, Alabas and Levante) and one Cinderella (Sauta) from the third division participated.
The one who must have been happy to see the draw was Barcelona, who will meet Sueta from the third division after struggling and being dragged to extra time against Intercity from the third division in the previous round. At the same time, Real Madrid will meet Villarreal for a particularly intriguing match and Atlético Madrid will host Levante.
