Representatives of the Belarusian Red Cross recently visited a joint independent living facility located on the grounds of a former estate in Komarov, bringing much-needed cheer to residents.
Iryna Hryshkevich, chairman of the district organization, and Olesya Kostina, a first aid instructor, delivered gifts including sweets, hand-knitted slippers crafted by volunteer needlewomen, and clothing tailored to residents’ sizes. Kostina also led a first aid workshop for the residents, emphasizing that preparedness is key, even if it never becomes necessary.
Additional Support for the Community
The Belarusian Red Cross extended its generosity to disabled children within the village council’s territory, as well as to a working-age individual unable to work due to health concerns.
