jpnn.comSEMARANG – Head of the Goods and Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) Hendrar Prihadi spoke out about his candidacy in the Central Java gubernatorial election.
The man who is familiarly called Hendi handed over the decision regarding the recommendation in the Central Java gubernatorial election to the PDI Perjuangan Central Leadership Council (DPP).
“We have registered, we will return everything to the DPP, whoever they want to give recommendations to, yes, we will carry it out, whoever it is,” said Hendi in Semarang City, Tuesday (2/7).
The former mayor of Semarang also chose to be tight-lipped. He was reluctant to respond to a number of questions related to his readiness to become the number one candidate in Central Java.
“Basically, we are ready for whatever the decision is,” said Hendi, who is also the Chairman of Taruna Merah Putih (TMP), the PDI Perjuangan’s wing organization.
Previously reported, PDI Perjuangan DPP Chair Puan Maharani did not reveal Hendi’s name in the mapping of the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election.
Puan only said that her party would likely nominate the Chairman of the Central Java PDI Perjuangan DPD, Bambang Wuryanto, or the Central Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi.
He only emphasized that all names for PDI Perjuangan were still developing in public and the red-colored political party would consider everything.
“Those are the names that are growing, that’s all we consider, they’re all interesting,” said Puan.(mcr5/jpnn)
