Registration open for the 11th Fine Film Festival, cinema and politics exhibition, which takes place in September in São Paulo. Films must be up to 20 minutes long and have been produced from 2022 onwards. Registration can be made via site until May 3rd.
The selected short films will form debate panels and screenings, with themes and guests from different areas. In previous editions, the following participated in the Finos Filmes tables: Fernando Haddad, Sônia Guajajara, Lázaro Ramos, Ana Maria Gonçalves, Linn da Quebrada, Christian Dunker, Maria Rita Kehl, Nuno Ramos, Antônio Pitanga, Pastor Henrique Vieira, Christiane Jatahy, Vera Iaconelli , Michel Laub, Naruna Costa, Giovanni Venturini and others.
“The Fine Films Festival is heading towards its 11th edition, reaffirming its commitment to the democratic resumption of the audiovisual sector and the country’s new moment. We hope to be able, once again, to use cinema to promote meetings and serve as a showcase for the creative power of new generations of filmmakers”, says Felipe Poroger, general director of the event.
The 11th Finos Finos Festival is organized by the production company Finos Filmes, with support from the Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS-SP), Cineclube Cortina, REAG Belas Artes, FAAP, Cinusp, Co-Criança and Fundo FICA.
