jpnn.comJAKARTA – Presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, Ganjar Pranowo, has declared that he will not join the government of the era of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
He said this when delivering a speech at the TPN Ganjar-Mahfud halalbihalal event in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (6/5).
“I declare first, I will not join this government,” said Ganjar in his speech, Monday.
However, the former Governor of Central Java admitted that he respected the incoming government and chose to be the controlling party.
“We will carry out control in the correct way, so that there is political morality, the correct way of doing politics must be up to class, and everyone is equally respectful, there is no need to sneer at each other,” said Ganjar.
The Gadjah Mada University (UGM) alumnus said that the most appropriate way to criticize the future government is the constitutional route.
“The most correct way to sneer is in the right way, what is that? The parliamentary route. That is the best way we can take the right actions to exercise control,” said Ganjar.
It is known that a number of TPN elites were present at the halalbihalal, such as Oesman Sapta Odang or OSO, Hasto Kristiyanto, Arwani Thomafi, Yenny Wahid, Arsjad Rasjid, Todung Mulya Lubis and Andika Perkasa.
