Remo Battaglia receives medal of honor for merit at ALESP

On 5/2, the founding partner of the office Battaglia & Pedrosa Advogados, Remo Battaglia, was awarded the Dom Ives Gandra da Silva Martins medal of honor by the William Shakespeare Academy (AWS). The award ceremony was held in the Franco Montoro auditorium, of the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo (ALESP) and honored 26 personalities, including Astronaut Marcos Pontes and the president of the House, André do Prado.

The awarding of the medal to Battaglia was recommended by former state deputy Castello Branco for his personal and cultural merits, in addition to his outstanding performance in culture, society and the legal environment.

The lawyer was also honored with a plaque from the William Shakespeare Academy, an entity created in 1993 in Brazil that awards medals and honorary awards in recognition of services provided to the community. Among other purposes, AWS supports art and culture, in addition to recognizing outstanding personalities who positively influence society and serve as role models for others.

The ceremony was presided over by deputy Bruno Zambelli, who was also one of those honored and was attended by jurist Ives Gandra da Silva Martins himself.
