Renault Argentina announced the arrival to dealerships of the new Duster, the small SUV segment that has been renewed to update its design, add technology and safety.
The 2024 version was presented during the summer at the brand’s stand in Cariló, as automotive companies do every year, and now it first takes place in sales halls with three versions and defined prices.
In this way, the SUV imported from Colombia is positioned as the cheapest 4 × 4 model in the segment, since the three versions, which are Intens 1.6 MT (the Intens CVT is no longer sold, which was the cheapest with automatic box), Iconic 1.3T CVT and Iconic 1.3T MT 4×4, price is 27,895,000 pesos.
The value is the same for the entire range, because it is “limited” so that it does not reach the internal tax, which affects vehicles with an amount greater than 28 million pesos. Although it is the recommended list price, this false limit can cause surcharges at dealerships, as models with different equipment levels cannot have the same value.
What has changed in the new Renault Duster
The small SUV presents a refreshed design on the exterior, incorporating LED headlights with integrated DRLs, a new taillight design and a gloss black front grille.
In the Iconic versions, it incorporates a new design on the roof bar with Duster badge, version identification badge, gloss black rear-view mirrors with orange details, 17″ wheels cut and darkened with diamonds, and a new color Metalith Gray front and rear. jacket skiing.

Regarding the inside, A center console with armrests has been incorporated for the whole range and a new upholstery design in the Iconic versions, with orange details to match the exterior of the vehicle.

In mechanics, these models do not present changes. The Intens version continues with the engine 1.6 115 HP with five-speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive.
The version iconic available with engine 1.3 turbocharger with 163 hp, along with two transmission options: CVT automatic and 2WD front drive; or six-speed manual transmission and 4WD all-wheel drive.
Safety is where the most important change has taken place, as they come as standard 6 airbags (front, side and curtain). The versions are top-of-the-range rain sensor.

Finally, in technology, it offers three USB-C ports (one in the front and two in the back) and wireless charger for iconic versions.

The SUV has renewed competition with models such as Volkswagen T-Cross, Chevrolet Tracker, Fiat Pulse, Citroen C4 Cactus and Nissan Kicks.
In addition, it faces Jeep Renegade, the only one in the small segment with 4×4 traction, but which in this version has a value of 48 million pesos.
