Ukrainian negotiator for Belarus has been assassinated by Ukraine’s secret service after being suspected of being a Russian spy. To date, no government official has confirmed the report.

Ukraine’s secret services have eliminated a member of the Ukrainian delegation who has been holding talks with the Russians in recent days with a view to stopping the fighting in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda reports that the assassin is Dennis Kiryev, who is suspected of being a Russian spy while sitting at the table of the Ukrainians. He was reportedly killed when Ukrainian police tried to arrest him.

During the arrest, Dennis Kiryev, a member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation to the city of Gomel in Belarus, was shot by the Ukrainian security service. He is suspected of treason. According to the Ukrainian Security Service, there was solid evidence of Kiryev’s betrayal, including recordings of his phone calls, which left no room for doubt.

Talks between Ukraine and Russia continued last Thursday in the city of Gomel in Belarus on the border with Poland and are expected to resume tomorrow or Monday.

Dennis Kiryev was reportedly charged with “treason” and shot dead by the Ukrainian secret service SBU during the arrest. He is considered a friend of oligarch Andrei Klyuyev, an ally of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Russian ousted by incumbent President Zlansky, in democratic elections and has since fled to the Russian Federation.

It was also reported that Dennis Kiryev, a member of Ukraine’s negotiating delegation to Belarus, was a Ukrainian intelligence agent and killed during an “undercover operation” with two other agents.

However, so far Ukrainian government agencies have not officially confirmed the information about the member of the delegation who was shot to death for being a Russian spy.
