Batet asks all the new deputies of the XV legislature to reflect on the quality of politics
The outgoing president of the Parliament, the socialist Meritxell Batet, has taken advantage of her final speech in the last Permanent Deputation of the XIV legislature to launch a general farewell message and another more political background. Batet has recognized, in a purely formal session that has lasted five minutes to close her mandate, that today was not the “time for reproach, but for reflection”.
Next, although he has recognized the work and dedication in difficult years due to the pandemic of the extinct legislature, he also wanted to refer to the deputies who will remain in Congress with something more than a wish to urge them to work “with a willingness to to agreement and greatness, above all, greatness”.
